I suffer from ADHD, PTSD, Major Depressive disorder, Anxiety and Panic disorders (Separation and Social)...Narcolepsy, and am on medication for everything but have struggled with methamphetamine for 15 years on the side. I can stop but I am miserable when I do, can you advise me in any way on what to do or take?
Thank you for reaching out. It is great that you are wanting to address what you have been struggling with. And it sounds like you are able to stop using methamphetamines but do not like how you feel when you are off of them. I would first address this with a medical physician to make sure it is medically safe for you to stop if you are currently using. Then, I would seek help from a Psychologist for the presenting issues you mentioned, ADHD, PTSD, MDD, and Anxiety. Intensive Psychotherapy from a specialist can be helpful in accurate diagnosis and treatment including referral to a good Psychiatrist. Please let me know if you need help finding someone geographically close. I am happy to help.
